QTAKE Slate Scan & IN2CORE ScreenPort SDI Pro kit

QTAKE has teased Slate Scan that will be shown at the NAB show in Las Vegas in a few weeks time. Slate Scan look looks be very interesting addition to QTAKE’s portfolio of products.

They will also be showing IN2CORE’s ScreenPort SDI Pro kit that works with QTAKE.

QTAKE’s new Slate Scan has new AI-powered features where it automatically detects slate information and assists with entries or corrections, reducing repetitive manual tasks.

I don’t have any further details about the Slate Scan at this stage as it hasn’t been officially announced yet.

The ScreenPort SDI Pro kit is aimed squarely at VFX crew and script supervisors. It allows you to feed an SDI signal with camera metadata directly into your iPad or Mac.

Designed for filmmakers and video professionals, it’s suitable for a wide range of production scenarios – from delivering a wireless feed to a script supervisor to enabling a collaborative video village in the cloud. ScreenPort SDI Pro is also an excellent alternative for smaller projects with limited space or budget for a traditional video assist setup and on-set monitors.

Using industry-standard power connectors and rugged metal enclosure it was designed to be mounted on the camera to capture SDI video, audio and metadata and stream it over the local network to multiple clients in its standalone mode. When connected to iOS device ScreenPort SDI Pro offers ultra-low latency streaming over the internet and proxy media upload to QTAKE Cloud to make the content instantly available to main unit or remote collaborators.
