Warner Bros, Legendary, and IMAX have released the official teaser trailer for Dune: Part Three, which will be in theaters on the 18th of December.
Directed by Denis Villeneuve and written by Villeneuve and Brian K. Vaughan, Dune: Part Three is based on the novel Dune Messiah by Frank Herbert and delivers the conclusion to Villeneuve’s trilogy.
The film stars Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Isaach De Bankolé, with Charlotte Rampling, with Anya Taylor-Joy, and Robert Pattinson, and Javier Bardem, and features newcomers Nakoa-Wolf Momoa and Ida Brooke. Hans Zimmer returned from the previous installments to compose the film’s score.
Principal filming began in July 2025 in Budapest and Abu Dhabi and wrapped in November. The movie was filmed on a mix of 65mm film, 1570 film (which was used on DUNKIRK), and digital IMAX.
