Los Angeles Rams & Canon Cinema EOS

Canon USA has posted up a video with Los Angeles Rams Director of Video Sam Lack and how they utilize the Canon EOS Cinema ecosystem to deliver everything from game day hype videos to player documentaries.

Their content is used for documentaries, infinity screens at SoFi Stadium, ticketing and marketing campaigns, and published on various platforms like Rams.com, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and local TV affiliates.

This case study breaks down how the Rams manage a run-and-gun sports environment using a kit that consists of the EOS C80, EOS C400, EOS C70, and EOS C300 cameras.

The team uses a range of Canon lenses, including RF photo lenses (15-35mm F2.8, 24-105mm F2.8, 70-200mm F2.8), cine-servo lenses (17-120mm, 25-250mm), as well as the Canon 45X

For shows like “The Coach McVay Show,” they use a three-camera setup, often controlled remotely with the Canon Multi-Camera Control App on a tablet.
