Blackmagic Design has released the Blackmagic Cloud Store 1.8.1 Update that now lets you format disks on Blackmagic Cloud Dock, Cloud Backup 8, Cloud Pod, and Media Dock, as well as access individual disks straight from the utility in Mac Finder or Windows File Explorer. It also adds improved sync progress accuracy on all Blackmagic Cloud models.
What’s new in Cloud Store 1.8.1
- Adds support for formatting drives on Cloud Store models with removable media. Also, individual drives can be opened directly in Mac Finder or Windows File Explorer from the setup utility.
- The estimated progress of syncs is now displayed more accurately, and each sync can be restricted separately to proxies only or both proxies and originals.
- An issue has been fixed where Amazon S3 syncs could stop unexpectedly. General performance and stability improvements have been made for all models.
