Kondor Blue has announced its new Nikon ZR Cage. This cage won’t be shipping until sometime in Q1 2026, but it can be pre-ordered for $170 USD.

According to KONDOR BLUE, their Nikon ZR cage took all of the use cases, strengths, and weaknesses into consideration throughout the design process. They added an integrated ergonomic rubber grip that can also be removed separately from the cage.
The Right Side Plate and Arca Baseplate combine to form a strong protective structure while retaining the compact size of the camera body. The Right Side Plate features NATO rail, sensor-centered anti-twist mount, and side strap loops. The Right Side Plate also locks into the camera body’s strap loop, while the Arca Baseplate connects to the camera’s base and anti-twist slot.
The Left Side Plate also includes a NATO rail, anti-twist mounts, and integrated USB-C and HDMI Micro cable protection. If screen rotation is a priority, Kondor Blue enabled the cage to function without the Left Side Plate.
Lastly, the Top NATO Rail integrates with the hot shoe and Left Side Plate for great security yet easy removal. The NATO rail has a spring-loaded safety stop and an M4 Sensor Plane Marker.
