Blazar has added a new 135mm T3.2 to its MANTIS 1.33x FF Anamorphic series. The 135mm joins the existing 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, 75mm, and 100mm to form a 6-lens set.
Back at NAB 2025 in Las Vegas, Blazar Lens showed prototypes of its MANTIS 1.33x full frame anamorphic lenses.
The lenses are available in the following focal lengths:
- 25mm T2
- 35mm T2
- 50mm T2
- 75mm T2
- 100mm T2
- 135mm T3.2
The MANTIS Series 1.33X Full Frame Anamorphic Lenses were designed to have characteristics that are said to be closer to a 1.5x or 2x squeeze lens.
MANTIS lenses come natively in PL and E mounts, with full support for EF, RF, Z, and L mounts. Thanks to MANTIS’s interchangeable mount design, you can easily switch between all major mounts without needing to use an adapter.
Unlike the Remus series, the MANTIS series lenses feature an impressive close focus capability, starting at 1.25 feet (0.38 meters).
Blazar will have a pre-sale for the 135mm T3.2 that will go live on December 16th.
During the Pre-Sale, Blazar is introducing a new MANTIS 6-hole case. It’ll be discounted as an add-on for the 135mm and included with the discounted 6-lens set.
