The DJI FlyCart 100 is a new drone designed for delivering substantial payloads. It features an enhanced load capacity, better performance, and safety features.
While it doesn’t have anything to do directly with filmmaking, it could be used on productions to bring in equipment or even to hold an overhead light.
Load Capacity & Performance
The FC100 features a 62-inch carbon fiber propeller, high-torque motor, and high-power ESC, enabling a single-axis lift of 82 kg / 180.77 lb. It has. a maximum operating distance of up to 12km / 7.45 miles.
Winch System
It comes with an upgraded dual-motor collaborative winch system with a wireless charge electric hook. The cable can extend up to 30m / 98.4′ and maintain a fast up and down speed of 1.2 m/s for cargo.
The winch system also includes a triaxial force sensor for attitude correction, minimizing cargo swing, real-time weight monitoring to prevent overloading, and an emergency cable release mechanism.
Battery System
The FC100 can be paired with a DJI dual battery lifting system for streamlined operations and reduced costs.
