Blazar Lens has put out a video where they compare and test every lens across all focal lengths and lens series, including MANTIS, APEX, BEETLE, REMUS, and CATO. All lenses were shot from the same camera position and the same starting subject distance to create a true apples-to-apples comparison.
The tests show lens flares, close-focus performance, and lens distortion. You can scrub through the individual sections to compare different focal lengths and each Blazar series. Most tests were shot on the BMCC 6K FF in 3:2 open gate, and the Beetle was tested on the Sony FX3 in 16:9. All lenses were used wide open, with ISO adjusted to maintain consistent exposure. Color correction was done in Davinci Resolve.
