Aputure has announced the release of Sidus Link Pro 2.1, the console-style lighting workstation app for iPad. This update introduces a new Free plan, giving all users free access to Bluetooth control of any Aputure and amaran light.
Users transitioning from Sidus Link Legacy (formerly Sidus Link for iPad) will find the same Bluetooth control experience, plus the addition of Console Mode, Diagram Master, and Magic Program Pro to the Free plan.

With the addition of the Free plan, Sidus Link Pro now offers free Bluetooth control, including the full library of Light Modes, FX, Quickshots, Magic Program Pro and Go, Magic Infinity FX, and Diagram Master. Sidus Hardware Monitor, Auto-Patching and Auto-Configuration, and Aputure Light Firmware updates all remain free functions in Sidus Link Pro.
In addition to the new Free plan, the Pro plan adds one Universe of DMX/CRMX control, including cue sequencing and editing. The Max plan expands control to four Universes. Sidus Link Pro is the only Sidus Link app to offer DMX/CRMX control and cueing.
Sidus Link Mobile users can easily sync their projects to Sidus Link Pro by logging in, accessing the same presets and light plots available on their iOS or Android phone.
Sidus Link Pro is available now in the App Store
