Flanders Scientific has announced its new XMP651 65″ QD-OLED UHD HDR reference monitor. This is a slightly larger version of the recently released 55″ XMP551.
It was designed for HDR and SDR mastering environments, and it is claimed to deliver accuracy, brightness, and class-leading contrast, all in a true reference-grade display.
Key features
- 65″ UHD (3840 × 2160) Quantum-Dot OLED panel for immersive, large-format mastering and review
- 4,000 nit peak luminance and 8,000,000:1 contrast ratio for uncompromised HDR performance
- Volumetric AutoCal for simple, precise, and repeatable calibration
- Ultra-Wide Color Gamut: Our widest color gamut to date
- Quad View mode and simultaneous HDR/SDR monitoring
- 12G/6G/3G/HD-SDI connectivity with clean loop and processed MON outputs
- Comprehensive on-screen analysis tools, including waveform, vectorscope, and advanced false color

Built on advanced QD-OLED technology, the XMP651 combines 4,000 nit peak luminance with a very high 8,000,000:1 contrast ratio, enabling faithful reproduction of both extreme highlights and shadow detail simultaneously.

The XMP651 qualifies as a Dolby Vision mastering monitor, providing true reference-grade performance and claimed industry-leading off-axis performance in a form factor large enough for both the colorist and clients to view.

The XMP651 delivers the same trusted feature set and reliability professionals expect from the XMP Series, now in a larger format ideal for grading suites, DI theaters, and client review environments seeking the very best in reference display performance.
