PROTON has announced its new PIO-E, which allows for IP control for all PROTON cameras. They have also announced that their PROTON ZOOM camera is also shipping.
The PIO-E is the IP-enabled version of their PIO interface. With a single Ethernet cable, you get power (PoE), camera control, and bi-directional communication.
With the PIO-E, you can control all PROTON cameras over IP, enabling:
