Panavision’s proprietary, modular Camera Array baseplates were designed to provide unmatched precision and flexibility for capturing background plates.

They are available in large, medium, and small form factors, each individual plate allows for a greater-than-180° field of view with three or four cameras, and two plates can easily be connected for a 360° configuration.
A single plate allows for a greater-than-180° field of view with three or four cameras arranged in either a toe-in or toe-out configuration. Two plates can be connected for a 360° array with six to nine cameras in a variety of configurations, including the option of having one upward-facing center camera. The Large Camera Array is compatible with camera systems up to the size of DXL2 and the Sony Venicewith AXS-R7 4K raw recorder. Additionally, Panavision offers a purpose-built solution for mounting the Large Camera Array in a 360° configuration on a Libra remote head. The camera array system is complemented by Panavision’s precision-matched and calibrated Array Lenses.

The Medium Camera Array is compatible with camera systems up to the size of the Sony Venice 2. Additionally, Panavision offers a purpose-built solution for mounting the Medium Camera Array in either a 180° or 360° configuration on a Libra remote head.

The Small Camera Array is compatible with RED Komodo and V-Raptor cameras and the Rialto extension system for the Sony Venice camera.

The Panavision high-performance, precision-matched Array Lenses provide a clean, rectilinear, neutral solution ideal for capturing background plates with Panavision’s Camera Arrays.
Available in 20mm, 24mm, and 35mm focal lengths, Panavision’s high-performance Array Lenses provide a clean, rectilinear, neutral solution ideal for capturing background plates. Each focal length is precision-matched and calibrated specifically for use with Panavision’s camera array solutions, which are available in Large Camera Array, Medium Camera Array, and Small Camera Array baseplate configurations.
