Apple announces iPhone 11 Pro – Record two video streams with FiLMiC Pro

Apple has just announced the new iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro which comes with 3 cameras that can all record at 4K60 which the upcoming FiLMiC Pro app will be able to take advantage of.

This is the first time Apple has added the Pro moniker to the iPhone line so let’s see what makes the new model so special compared to the regular iPhone 11.

FiLMiC Pro Update

During the Keynote, filmmaker Sean Baker took the stage and gave a look at the upcoming version of FiLMiC Pro which will be able to harness all three cameras, with the new A13 Bionic chip.

A new Viewfinder mode gives you a visual display of the different focal lengths, which you can then select to shoot.

Still no USB Type-C

Unfortunately, the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro still use a Lightning connector, but Apple does include a USB-C power adaptor with a Type-C to Lightning cable in the box so maybe they are preparing for the future.
