NAB 2014 video: JVC 4k super 35 concept cameras

Chuck Fadely talks to JVC’s Craig Yanagni about their super 35 imager 4k ‘concept’ cameras they are showing for the first time at NAB 2014. The GY-LSX2 handycam has a micro four-thirds lens mount for lens flexibility and will do 4K in both 24p and 30p. It records 4k to a single SDXC or SDHC card but has dual codec recording to capture both full 4k and proxy files. The GY-LSX1 is a shoulder-mount production camera with PL mount. The GW-SPLS1 mini camera system has a separate recorder and camera head and the same camera is also mountable on a JVC gimbal for aerials from a UAV copter.
