One of the most eagerly awaited cameras this year has been the new KineRAW MINI. The diminutive RAW camera is a scaled down version of the company’s S35 model – it shares the same sensor and 2K RAW capability, but loses Cineform onboard encoding and SDI output.

It shoots to SSD in Adobe DNG format – there is no compressed recording at all. Cineform recording will be possible in the future with an external recorder option.

We were lucky to get an early hands on with the camera today in Las Vegas and hope to shoot some test footage in the coming days.
