The price drop is very aggressive. Yes the Pocket 6K has some limitations but for $1995 it's very good deal. A couple of these with the ATEM Mini Pro and you could have a powerful live switching streaming setup.

Thats true, its the second time with blackmagic for me. I got resolve when it was 999$ and then it dropped price to 300$ several weeks later. But DJI is def not better, everything I buy from them loses their worth almost instantly.
My canon stuff held up its worth several years though.

or even better 3x BMPCC4K for the same price! In live streaming having a deeper DOF at the same light level can be quite useful! 😉

Don't get me started on even updating DJI drones. A surefire way for them to stop working right!

When I bought my second BMPCC4K, it was predicated on the fact that I could equip it with a new lens, monitor, cage etc for not much more than a BMPCC6K and that's pretty much what I achieved. I think I spent about AU$200 more for the entire rig vs just a body (and then I would have needed lenses as well). Remaining compatible with my first BMPCC4K, lenses and accessories wasn't a bad idea either.
