Kyno offering support during the COVID-19 crisis

It is tough times for everyone working in the film and TV communities around the world and we need all the help we can get to make it through this difficult period. Kyno has now joined a long list of companies offering help to the filmmaking community.

If you aren’t familiar with Kyno, it is a fantastic piece of software that lets you review, back up, ingest, log metadata, convert, trim, rename and organize material from just about any camera.

Kyno’s Covid-19 support package for video professionals include:

  • For individuals: If you’d like to start using Kyno now because it would help you for your work, for example for remote collaboration, but you cannot afford the price right now because of the consequences of the outbreak, write us an email and we’ll give you a 90-day license for Kyno Premium at no cost.
  • For teams with per-seat licenses: If you need help enabling your team to work from home you can get your seat-count doubled for 90 days so you can get those extra home computers activated.
  • For research and healthcare institutions: If you’re doing critical work during this pandemic, contact Kyno and get a 90-day license with unlimited seats to organize and streamline all media handling, like the production of educational material or organization of research documentation, which many of our government, research and medical clients already do. This also applies to existing customers of course – if you need extra seats or the latest version of Kyno don’t hesitate to reach out. Kyno willl extend this offer as needed.
