The PDMOVIE Remote Live II Dual Channel is a compact non-wireless solution for use on camera and tripods to control up to two motors for focus, iris or zoom. The kit gets power from a 12-to-16 volt D-Tap battery source.
Solid construction
The follow focus wheel is all metal and has a very nice feel to it. The damping is firm but not overly stiff making it easy to dial in an accurate focus pull. Back to build quality: All the connectors are locking Lemo-type and fit snugly into the controller.
The PDMOVIE Remote Live II Dual Channel supports two wired gears. This lightweight system could be great for gimbals and handheld rigs. The controller can be mounted to 15 and 19mm rails or tripod arms.
There are three different speed modes and the A-B mode is useful for manually setting hard stops, this is great for stills lenses that keep spinning, or for specific focus points.
