Daniel Peters runs through the new features in Blackmagic’s URSA Mini 4.0 Firmware

Daniel Peters has just published a short video that runs through some of the new features of the new 4.0 Beta firmware for the Blackmagic Design URSA Mini and URSA Mini 4.6K. As we reported earlier today the main improvement is in the way it allows rapid access to all the key camera setup items. It appears much more logical and intuitive than before and should be much easier to navigate. In the video Daniel points out a great way to set up the camera so you can quickly toggle between high frame rate and regular speed shooting.

Also new with the firmware is the ability to load LUTs which can be applied to the LCD screen, EVF and SDI outputs. Daniel makes his own custom LUTs which he sells through his website and has just updated them to cater for the new firmware.

You can download the new beta firmware here.
