NAB 2016: Aladdin prototype 1×1 LED lights are waterproof, adaptable, foldable

Winner of Newsshooter.com’s award for Best Lighting Innovation at NAB 2016, Aladdin’s panel LED lights folds down to a very compact size for travel and fold out on location. You can link up to four together and the individual lamps can be organised into a line or even a cube.

The panels can be attached together as a cube - could be useful to suspend and use in a china ball.

The panels are waterproof and more rugged than the company’s flexible LEDs but they run on the same power supplies as the earlier models. It’s also possible to run them off V-lock or Gold Mount batteries. These panels are prototypes at the moment and are expected to be available in a few months’ time.

The panels are bi-colour and substantially more rugged than the regular flexible LED panels.

We’ll be sure to check out the production versions when we’re able to get hold of some. In the meantime, congratulations to Aladdin on a great, innovative new product.
