KeyFlow Pro $299 OSX asset management updated to v1.2

We’ve been testing KeyFlow Pro at Newsshooter recently. This budget-friendly OSX asset management system is aimed at solo users and smaller collabrative groups, costing much less than other high-end solutions. We haven’t finished our review yet, but in the meantime developer Malgn Technology Co. has just updated it to version 1.2, which is free to existing users.

The software builds and maintains a library of all your video and audio projects and can cope with different codecs, file types and, crucially, storage locations – so you can build a single catalogue of all your work that’s tagged and findable six months later when your client suddenly wants a re-edit.

The latest version of the software adds some useful features including JKL shortcut keys for the built-in video player, improved support for timecode and tweaks to the software’s proxy encoder.

We’ll be reviewing KeyFlow Pro here in due course but if you can’t wait to try it for yourself it’s available on the Mac app store now for $299 US. There’s also a 30-day trial version that you can download from the KeyFlow Pro website.
