At IBC this year Newsshooter’s Elliot Smith spoke to Chinese rig maker Tilta. They were showing off their new camera cage for Sony’s a7R II and a7S II cameras. Highlights include a clever HDMI cable saver that converts the camera’s micro HDMI connector into a full size one; and a top handle that rotates to either sit perpendicular or parallel to the camera body. There is also the option to add 15mm rods via adapter baseplate.
The rig should be available soon from Tilta dealers worldwide and Ikancorp in the USA.
