Nebula 4000 Lite handheld brushless gimbal available for ‘group buy’ at $599 US

nebula deal

The Nebula 4000 Lite from Filmpower was the first 3-axis brushless gimbal I tested that was designed for single handed operation, yet strong enough to carry a Sony a7S or Panasonic GH4. Today they are offering a limited run of 30 units at a special price of $599 US, including worldwide delivery from their offices in Hong Kong.

Looking back a few months I did a review which showed that although the Nebula 4000 is not the easiest gimbal to set up it is capable of some pretty impressive results. Before you start shooting you need to balance the camera properly using screw adjustments. For even better results I recommend tuning the settings of the gimbal using Simple BGC software. This requires a little patience.

Other grip-style gimbals are slowly coming onto the market, but the Nebula 4000 remains the only one at such a low price that I would consider using. There are of course larger and better gimbals out there – no one is suggesting that the Nebula 4000 is going to rival a MoVI, DJI Ronin or Letus Helix – but for the solo shooter on a budget this deal represents an easy way into the world of brushless gimbals without breaking the bank.

The offer is limited to 30 units on a first come, first served basis and represents a $100 saving on the regular price. Be aware that import duties and customs charges may apply. Head to the Filmpower website to get the deal.
