Zhongyi optics who you may better know for their Mitakon range of lenses have announced their new 85mm f1.2 lens in Canon EF, Nikon F and Sony FE mount. The lens will cover a full frame sensor, has 270 degrees of focus rotation and will retail for $799 US. It will be interesting to see how well this lens performs against other 85mm f1.2 lenses on the market.
Mitakon have previously released fast lenses such as the Mitakon Speedmaster 35mm f/0.95 and Mitakon Speedmaster 50mm f/0.95 PRO version which both retailed for under $1000 US.
