IBC 2014: F&V EVF with 1280x720 resolutions

At IBC 2014 Connor Hartnett of F&V’s talked to us about the updates to their upcoming electronic viewfinder since we last saw it at NAB. The main attraction is a 4.3″ LCD display which F&V claim is bright and clear. It should make for easier focussing due to its 1280×720 resolution. The unit also features HDMI and SDI loop-through, a tally light and multiple mounting-point options. The unit looks much more finished than the last time we saw it and shipping is expected soon. One nice touch is the addition of a ARRI style rosette on one side of the EVF.
