A detailed video review of the Sony FS700 – done on assignment in Mongolia by Al Jazeera’s Matt Allard

SONY FS700 REVIEW from Matthew Allard on Vimeo.

On location in Mongolia with the FS700

I have been using the new Sony NEX FS700 over the past two weeks on assignment in Mongolia.  In my spare time between shoots I did this video review of the camera.

Apologies for the high shutter speed on the 5D mkIII that was used to shoot me – I had a non camera person doing it and i forgot to check the settings. The shutter speed got set on 1/2000th instead of 1/50th.

If you have questions, or there is anything you feel I have got wrong or missed, please don’t hesitate to ask me.

Great review. This camera sounds like it is the best bang for the buck. The slow mo at 240 frames per sec is SWEET! Under 10 with a great lens. Auto focus on moving subjects,, very cool. 4k future ,, this should be a keepable camera for quite a few years. This is the third review I have watched , and so far all three reviews, seem to say the same. A keeper Motion Picture Tool. Thank you for the review. The last thing I want to do is get a can not do expensive door stop.
